In this course, students will learn electromagnetic solutions for
circuit designs in today‘s semiconductor industry from fundamental
mathematical theories and numerical technics.
Following concepts will be introduced step by step through published
textbooks and IEEE papers: Poisson‘s equation, Green‘s function,
singularity, Gauss-Chebyshev quadrature, complex image theory, matrix pencil
method, moment method, boundary condition, microstrip line, capacitance,
equivalent model, parasitic RLC extraction, static analyses, full wave
analyses partial element equivalent circuit method, spectral domain
approach.
